At AMPAM, we believe that providing our employees with ongoing learning opportunities is a value that helps promote social responsibility. Our Training and Development Department has researched, designed, developed, and deployed organization-specific training programs, modules, and events that are aligned to keep our staff trained and knowledgeable on the latest developments in our industry. These programs help our employees develop new skills so they can be promoted throughout the company, from the fabrication yard, to the field, and to design.

 

Training and Collaboration With Educational Partners

Ongoing training is key, and our full-time corporate educator offers a tailored curriculum with classes in disciplines ranging from leadership to BIM and CAD. The learning opportunities we offer are available to our employees as full-semester programs, seminars, and distance-learning courses. The quality of our instruction is further enhanced by leveraging our relationships with our educational partners at the University of Southern California, the California State University Fullerton, and the University of California Irvine.

Industry Training Including OSHA

In addition to providing “in-house training” for our employees, we also offer “outside” professional training programs that align with our business model and are specific to our industry. These programs typically take place in the evenings and on weekends at our corporate offices in Carson, California. They are offered by licensed trainers in areas required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other required programs.
