16 Oct AMPAM Attends 2017 SoTec – Annual Southland Technology Conference
AMPAM Senior Project Manager/PMO Beverly Sawyer attended the 2017 Southland Technology Conference this past Saturday, October 14, at Southern California’s Long Beach Hilton. In its 18th year, the annual event’s theme was “Break Through to Excellence.” As always, Sotec delivered a high quality group of panelists, keynotes and speakers who presented thoughts and solutions on the current challenges of technological transformation with a focus on project management.
Sotec sessions geared for the tech and project management community included Project Management/Business Analysis, Quality Assurance/IT Service Management, Emerging Technologies and Alliance Partner Case Studies.
“I’ve participated in this show for several years, and will continue to do so on behalf of AMPAM Parks Mechanical, and PMI (Project Management International), as both an attendee and as a volunteer. I find the content interesting and timely,” said Beverly, a 12-year employee of AMPAM, and past board member of PMI-LA.
Sponsors included SCQAA-SF (Southern California Quality Assurance Association – San Fernando Chapter), IIBA® (International Institute of Business Analysis – Los Angeles), QAI Global Institute, PMI-LA, PMI-OC, itSMF USA, AITP (The Association of Information Technology Professionals – Los Angeles Chapter) and more.
Sotec’s mission is “To be the premier technology-related educational and networking conference in Southern California for the benefit of the Sponsoring Partner memberships and our Alliance Partners,” and they succeeded with another great program in 2017.
